👋 this young lady was in with her sister for their first visit to the new location to pick up some Michael Jackson vinyl and even a cassette single. She had a whole bunch of MJ buttons on her purse. Everything old is new again. We sold so many Michael buttons at Mind Dust back in the 80’s. Also, here’s another fresh batch of used vinyl, cleaned, priced, and ready to go.

👋 “These kids nowadays” 👍 thank you. Young man in the red was in the other day and spotted this really nice Sony discman and came back for it. We don’t see those that often, especially the really nice ones, and they don’t last too long. He’s been a regular customer for a little while and this time brought a friend with him for his first visit. Picked up the gorillas on vinyl and the latest deftones on cassette. Did you know there have been three bands called Nirvana? At least three that I know of. Mid 60s psychedelic pop band out of London, a Swedish metal band born in 1988, and the Nirvana that we all know in love. He didn’t either. Picked up Nirvana-Bleach (Seattle band) on cassette and what he thought was a Nirvana (Seattle band) record that he’d never seen before. I jokingly told him I would probably have that record forever because it’s not thee Nirvana. I told him it was a death metal band out of Sweden, Nirvana 2002, and he said “well, I’ll get it anyway. I like all kinds of music“. I wanted to make sure he would like it so we put it on the player and sure enough, as you can see, he has given it a home. “These kids nowadays” 👍 thank you.

👋 “these kids nowadays/parenting 101“. Had this family in yesterday. Thank you for making the hour and 30 minute+ drive. Hope to see you again. Maybe next time later on in the week when you can check out all the shops next door at Central District Lima . Turns out the kids want them to take them to every record store within a two hour radius of home 😃. These kids nowadays 👍! Parenting 101 A+++!!! I love the hearing the excitement in their voices when they find something they “can’t find anywhere”. Like I say, you hit every record store you can find cause you never know what you’ll find. Also, here’s a fresh batch of used vinyl that’s all cleaned priced and ready to find a home. We’re open til 7 but usually 8.

👋 open today till five. “These kids nowadays” from yesterday. This couple was in yesterday for their first visit looking for Beatle CDs. Don’t worry, they didn’t buy them all. Thank you for stopping in and thank you for making the 20 minute drive. It was 12 years ago last week Cavetown recording artists, our friends The Ex-Bombers , played their first time in Lima. Every year since then they’ve played Lima while on tour be it Mulligan’s, Outskirts, Avalon, or Groamy’s for Record Store Day. This Thursday, June 18th, Bad Lip Music is hosting their return to Legacy Ink Tattoos and Piercings . Check em out. We are open till five today. The Ex-Bombers

👋 lots of kids graduating from UNOH this weekend. I’ve had probably a dozen of them in for their last visit today. Here’s one of them picking up a classic LP. Sorry I wasn’t thinking and wishing I would’ve gotten pictures of all of you. Thanks to all you graduates for your support while you’ve been in town and I hope you’ve enjoyed your time in Lima. 👋 gonna be another warm one today. Here’s today’s PSA: don’t leave records, children, pets, or ice cream in a hot car. Stop in and pick up some cool tunes like these kids did yesterday. Whether you drove 35 minutes to pick up the Smiths on LP and Him on CD, or across town to pick up some CDs and a portable CD player, or drove 25 minutes for your first visit to pick up Yungblud colored vinyl with autographed insert, and cds from Noah Kahan and DJO (I’ll give it a listen😉), thank you. “These kids nowadays” 👍👍.
