There’s something to be said for boutiques that make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door.

During our recent travels, two shops truly stood out for all the right reasons.

Bumblebee Market in Surf City, North Carolina, and Blink Boutique in Irwin, Pennsylvania, both offered beautiful, thoughtfully curated selections, exceptional customer service, and the kind of warm hospitality that makes you want to come back again and again.

I was so impressed with Bumblebee Market that I even recommended it to customers who were vacationing on Topsail Island while we were there! I will also be recommending Blink locally.

As a fellow small business owner, I know how much heart goes into creating an experience customers remember. Kudos to both of these wonderful boutiques—I can’t wait to visit again!

Petey here… and I’d like to report my humans for BAD PARENTING.

They actually had the nerve to go to the beach WITHOUT ME! Instead, I got shipped off to stay with Erica and her family.

And if that wasn’t traumatic enough… I had to share a bed with TWO GIRL DOGS. The indignity!

Meanwhile, Mom packed this adorable little pink bag full of My Honeybee essentials for herself. Excuse me… shouldn’t I be considered an essential too?

I think I deserve extra treats, belly rubs, and maybe a shopping spree at My Honeybee to recover from this emotional distress. I’m giving Mom the cold@shoulder. Who’s with me?
