Here's the latest information about the Ligonier Valley Farmer's Market. It will be held every other Saturday starting June 13th through September 19th from 9am to 1pm.

The farmer's market vendors will be set up on the Loyalhanna Watershed Association property at 6 Old Lincoln Highway in Ligonier (same place) and the artisan crafts market will be set up at Thistledown at Seger House boutique hotel (221 West Main Street. Ligonier). Many thanks to Thistledown for stepping up to donate the space!

We applaud the Loyalhanna Watershed Association for recognizing the vital importance a farmer's market is to the Ligonier Valley community. That community includes its residents, restaurants, service and commercial businesses, and retail and specialty shops, and how it serves to bring together vendors, farmers, local businesses, and the numerous patrons within our beautiful town and valley.

We are looking forward to a bright and positive future for both markets. Let's put our energy into supporting their efforts!

The Ligonier Country Market will happen Saturday May 23rd (tomorrow) in downtown Latrobe from 8am to 12 noon. It will be set up along Ligonier Street from Depot Street to Minehan Avenue.
This market will occur every Saturday through September 26th, except for June 6th (Mister Rogers Family Days Festival), July 4th (Latrobe's July 4th Celebration and parade), and August 22nd (Great American Banana Split Celebration).

This would be a great opportunity to check out our warehouse sales shop at 219 Spring Street in the Latrobe Masonic Building at the corner of Ligonier and Spring streets (across from the parking garage). All our closeouts and overstock items are 50% off. We also have a Flea Market/Scratch N' Dent table with items priced as marked. It is CASH ONLY in this shop (PA sales tax applied).

Then stick around from 12noon to 7pm Saturday for the annual Latrobe Alley Fest for great music, food, and craft vendors (located in the alley behind 215 Main Street, in the municipal parking lot at the corner of Jefferson and Main, and along Ligonier Street).

Courtesy of Tubmill Creek Provisions, we have FREE PARKING each Saturday in the month of May in Ligonier. Make these Saturdays worry-free days of shopping and dining. All the shops have been getting wonderful new items in stock for the Spring and Summer and restaurants have their Spring menus on board!

And speaking of new items....

A large shipment of Bethany Lowe Designs Halloween and Fall just dropped on our doorstep! Janine and Lora will be working diligently to get these wonderful pieces checked in and out on the floor this week.

New Summer and Patriotic flags and mailbox covers have arrived. Our 250Th and Sasquatch flags have been a hit! We also have a Sasquatch metal yard sign that has become quite popular!

We also received a shipment of 250th Patriotic ornaments, nutcrackers, Fabriche Santas, and figures yesterday and they are already flying out the door today.

Christopher Radko ornaments keep trickling in as they become available. New to the Shiny Brites this year are wreaths and garlands. We have a very large selection of boxed ornaments, wreaths, and garlands to choose from.
