It's been an incredible four years at the Open Heart Thrift Shop. The shop has served the community not only as a wonderful place to donate used items but also as a place to offer items at great prices. The money earned allowed the shop to give to mission projects and outreach events, such as Thanksgiving meals, diapers and wipes for new moms, food pantries, homeless shelters, help for Hurricane Helene victims, youth and children's events, as well as upkeep on the facilities. The volunteers have worked tirelessly, spending many hours at the shop as a ministry for the Lord. In addition to displaying donated items, cashiering, and keeping the shop clean and organized, the volunteers have offered prayer for those in need and encouraged many to attend church, leading to one joining and regularly attending church services. We cannot thank these volunteers enough: Sherry Hitchcock, Ruth Thomas, Bob Davis, Addie Barrett, Vikki Lesley, and the many others who helped during these years. May God bless each and every one of the volunteers as well as the customers who supported the Open Heart Thrift Shop. We are praising the Lord for His many blessings in the past and are excited to see what God has for us in the future as we move forward. 🙌❤️✝️
