My sweet neighbor, Jean, came over a couple of days ago with 3 doilies that her grandmother made. (I’m guessing these are roughly 150 years old) She asked me to make them into something that could be displayed on her bedroom wall, so I dug through my “project” pieces, found some old frames and got to work! I removed the glass and backing, cut 2 pieces of wood per frame (I’ll give Sheckey the credit for the cutting), stained and attached. These turned out so beautiful and when she saw them she burst into tears. There is no better feeling than seeing my work make someone feel all the feels!
