Not a bad weekend!! Just a few of many caught.. all between 4 and 5 and a half feet!! All released and swam off strong… all caught on the maracan leader made by Spartan Tackle!

Little excursion! Hit the rocks this morning and caught about 5 flatties this size nothing to right home about but still a good day!

Ok guys we have a lot of big things coming in the near future if anyone is fishing in the port bolivar area and needs tips on lure/bait selection or looking good spots in the area to fish feel free to message us! We have been fishing for trout, reds, croaker, whiting, and flounder all over the peninsula so stay safe and tight lines guys!

Went wade fishing yesterday caught a bunch of undersized trout. Waiting on the big girls to come out!

This area highlighted is where we did some bay fishing in North San Diego Bay. The conditions were not in our favor however we did pull up some fish. We were targeting Spotted Rock Bass, Sand Bass, and Halibut. We drifted over a drop off the went from 35 feet to 45 feet. We fished using a 3/4 oz jig head using gulp shrimp. The same lure that’s so popular in the south! It was definitely a different style of fishing we are use to but definitely a fun one!
