Not all logs that were floated down the river to to be milled actually made it to the mill. Some logs sunk and laid submerged for over a century to be reclaimed in recent years. They are buried treasure! We love working with “sinker” redwood, as in the top of this medium jumbo Bent Twig. Visually and tonally “sinker” wood is exceptional.
