We’re just two sleeps away from Bookstore Romance Day where we’ll be popping up at Lexington, KY Brewery | Blue Stallion Brewing Co. from noon to 3pm with the adult book fair of our dreams! Stop by to shop, craft, and grab a drink at the bar (non-alcoholic options available; family friendly space) before heading to the Woodland Art Fair, or any of the other cool spaces Lexington has to offer!

Oh, and our social media girl has had her eye on doing a giveaway when we reach 1,000 followers. One of the prizes is a 24-piece Lenox Spice Village Set. Since we’re so close to 1k, everyone who makes a purchase on Saturday will receive 1 raffle entry for their chance to win.

Our bookish events calendar is live for August! We’ve got our regular set of book clubs, but we’re also setting up shop at Lexington, KY Brewery | Blue Stallion Brewing Co. for Bookstore Romance Day on August 15 from noon to 3pm! The Traveling Book Woman of Magpie Collective is so excited for this pop-up bookstore experience (and yes, there will be book bedazzling and other crafts). We finally said the words at Doodles After Dark last night. We’re a s**t club. A s**t club for women, and we’re not ashamed of it. This month, we’re going a bit dark… dark and s**tty with Lights Out.
