Flying 17 hours to bring 13 new molds one step closer to reality. This sketchbook is over 4 years old and has over 100 bait concepts sketched.

Time to work hard and be as precise as I can be in the next 6 days to ensure the new models turn out perfect- we are also making very minor, internal changes to some of the other baits we already have.

The crew got out for another great day of fishing!

A bitter 21 degrees didn’t slow the fish down! Another 24 in the box. Planning one more meat trip before chasing our favorite- smallmouth!

2026 show season is officially wrapped up!

Thank you to everyone who came out to visit, meet and greet, talk tackle and pick up some baits this show season.

We will be spending the week restocking, organizing, and preparing for some amazing future livestreams!

The crew had a great couple days fishing. As much as we love bass fishing these early spring, ice out walleyes are a blast to chase (and eat).

We had a monster 40.6 pound bag Sunday along with a 3 man limit, and topped it off today with another 3 man limit. 40 pounds of fillets in the freezer!

Back to the grind for a few weeks! Come see us in Grand Rapids this weekend! A lot of exciting things to come.

On a side note, Landon has the ability to time travel to and from the lake. (See last two photos attached). He’s already a veteran Lake Erie walleye fisherman!

The X-twitch 110 is a phenomenal walleye bait, 2 oz snap weight gets them where they need to be!

The aftermath of another Friday night RodBender stream. One lucky buyer walked away with almost $2,000 worth of retail fishing tackle.

The reason for this photo is to show the real background of RodBender Fishing Co. before we move into our new facility — something that truly would not have been possible without all of you.

We didn’t start with deep pockets, investors, or years of experience in the fishing industry. We didn’t have a fancy warehouse or a big storefront. We just had a few guys who loved fishing and were willing to work hard to build something of our own, with supportive families behind us from day one.

All of our Whatnot shows? Those have been run out of a 20×24 non-insulated two-car garage with a busted up concrete floor.

Our “warehouse”? My mother’s basement.

Overflow inventory? Stored in multiple places at once.

It hasn’t always been perfect or pretty, but it’s been real — and it’s been built step by step with the support of an incredible community.

None of this would be possible without Whatnot, our loyal buyers and followers, and most importantly our families who believed in us when this was just an idea.

We truly appreciate every single one of you who has supported RodBender along the way. You’ve helped turn a simple idea from a group of young guys from Ohio into something we’re incredibly proud of.

Hey all!! A little update for our faithful followers.

-First and foremost, we want to thank everyone for the continued support. We truly have an amazing customer base here at RodBenderFishingCo!

1.- Thank you to everyone who has been patient while we navigate some new waters- which is trying our best to keep our online presence while running a full, in person show season. We are doing our best, but it has definitely thinned us out trying to do two things at once.

2.- Rod sleeves are in! They will release next Friday on whatnot, and we will have them in Grand Rapids.

3.- The big one- we have 13 new molds coming out, including but not limited to a frog, topwater walking bait, shallow jerkbait, a “plopper” style bait, shallow diving jerkbait, a true flat side, 2 new glides, 3 new swimbaits, and more!

4.- Ties into #1 and #3. Molds are one thing that we do not rush, we are on our 7th “plop style” bait prototype. With that said, we now have an in person visit scheduled soon with our manufacture and engineers to not only speed up the release, but also get the baits as “perfect as they can be”. We are restocking the crankbaits in May, and hoping the new baits will launch in summer of 26.

5.- We will be back to our “normal” whatnot schedule following the GR show. We have been running smaller shows, we will be going back to larger shows soon.

6.- The “warehouse” that we have been speaking of on our stream will begin construction in less than 2 months, and hopefully be finished by June 1. In person visits are welcome by appointment only.

7. The 50 hour stream WILL happen, but will be dependent on #6 happening first.

8. I have spoke of this on our whatnot, but in the next 12 months or so, we are doing our best to give away a boat. You read that right, someone will win a brand new boat on our whatnot page. This will take a ton of planning, but we are committing to it happening!

9.- Last but not least, a YouTube will be on its way soon, to see more into our daily activities and fishing trips.

I’m sure I’m missing few things, but that’s the latest from the RodBender crew!

At the booth we talk tackle, fishing, baits, and anything else you can think of. It also allows you to see the full Rodbenderfishingco arsenal on display!

We will be at the Indianapolis Boat Show until the end of the weekend, and conclude with our final show of the year in Grand Rapids, Michigan march 12-15th.
