Welcome to Mendel Guitars page.
I have been making and restoring guitars for many years. I have a degree in Industrial Design with a concentration in furniture design. I entered into an apprenticeship with three master luthiers several years ago to further enhance my established skills in instrument
making and repair.

After completing my training I submitted five of my instruments to the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen Jury for inclusion in the guild. In the review and ultimate acceptance to the guild, the jury commented that my instruments were some of the best they have seen.

I have four custom made, solid wood baritone ukuleles for sale. I am currently making six 00 size acoustic guitars with Engelmann Spruce tops and mahogany sides, backs and necks. Rosewood fretboards and bridges with bone saddle and nut. Projected completion June 2024.
