We pressed fresh apple cider, hand-dipped our very own candles, churned butter, made little flower arrangements together all while listening to the folk music and gunfire of the Brigade of the American Revolution. 🇺🇸 🍎 🕯️

Rain or shine, this is one of my kids’ favorite events organized by the Cleveland Metroparks

We were walking back to the car (pretty soaked) and Luca says, “This was the best day EVER.” 🥺❤️

Same little Luca. I loved learning to make everything with you today!

Now we are back home and drying off. Momma made a warm cup of coffee & I’m going to try to sew a few of the fall floral hair bows that you guys have been loving this week! 🍂✨

From Finnie dancing along to the drums and fifes, Luca in full boyhood at the Union camp, to Emma and I swooning over all of the beautiful dresses from the Civil War Era.

What an incredible opportunity to introduce the kids to this era of American History through such an engaging experience.

Post office run ✔️
Boarded the Polar Express to visit 🎅🏻 at the North Pole ✔️

Looking back on the past week and my heart is SO full. In between tornado toddler mommin’ the babies alone, finding little moments to work on your beautiful bows, and running to the post office with boxes filled with bows at 4:58 pm (They close at 5 pm.) But we made it! There was a lot of cold coffee reheating and sewing with T-Rex roaring on on my left with another baby in my lap. I definitely felt the rush on this season trying to get it done. Some moments were wins and others (well we don’t have our tree up yet) but that is solo mommin’. Celebrating the small wins of the day and we made some time to board the Polar Express to visit 🎅🏻 at the North Pole with . The smiles were so big as we drank hot chocolate, wrote our lists, and the moment that Luca saw Santa Claus for the 1st time is one that I will remember forever! ❤️

Here’s to another week of making bows for your babies and celebrating the tiny joys with mine! 🎉🤍✨ and now we are going to put up the tree because Dada is back home! 🎄🙈

Went to sleep last night with the Ukraine donation bow making $246 in sales. When I woke up this morning, that number nearly doubled to $471. By lunchtime.... the 💙💛 bow broke.....🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁

Every night this week as I tucked my babies into their beds, I felt heart broken for all the Ukrainian mothers that are not able to do the same.

I have so many personal life updates to share with you all. But first, I have something that is far more urgent and important!

As the world landmarks lit up in blue and yellow in solidarity with Ukraine, I sat down and made a bow displaying the colors of the Eastern European nation's flag. These are the times as mothers, as humans that we must come together. That's why I am donating 100% of my profits from the bow to World Central Kitchen. Founded in 2010 by Chef José Andrés, World Central Kitchen (WCK) has set up mobile kitchens to provide hot meals for Ukrainians fleeing the Russian invasion. At one site alone, Andrés estimated that WCK had served more than 8,000 comforting meals. Meals have included soup, hot chicken stew and apple pie. For the mothers who are fleeing and don't know what's next...may we come together and not let them down. Lets feed their babies.
