We're big fans of the Bluegrass State, fall is our favorite season [although we may not have the same reason], we get through each day with pour-over coffee and Jesus and we adore our dog-child, Sawyer.

: I’m getting out of the business of breaking news. I’m laying down my reporter hat and trying on a new one. Yesterday was my last day at WKYT and my last day as a journalist. Over the last three and a half years I’ve so much enjoyed telling stories in my home state and meeting beautiful souls in central Kentucky. The people I’ve met and stories I’ve had the opportunity to tell will forever be a blessing. Michael and I are headed on a delayed honeymoon, and when we return I’ll start in my new role at Southland Christian Church. Since the summer, I’ve worked part-time in children’s ministry and I’m excited to see what the Lord has in store as I change careers and move into ministry.

Levi Delimpo and Deputy Jaime Morales are courtside waiting for SCSO to take on GPD in ‘Battle of the Badge’. Their money is on SCSO [and so is mine, despite my brother working for GPD 😜]. Win or lose, all money raised this weekend goes to Morales.

‘Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God.’

We’re married! This is one of my favorite moments from our wedding day, last Saturday. We got to have a few minutes of stillness to just talk and pray together.
