Excited to be submitting our second (and largest) grant of the campaign to pay off $40,000+ of the student lunch debt for FCPS families!

Congrats to all of our graduates and students moving up from elementary and middle schools into the big leagues! And congrats to the parents who survived another year!

Today is the PERFECT time to sign up for the Dahlhūs Fudge Beer Mile presented by and taking place on Saturday, July 25th!

A beer mile is a four-lap course around the Mirror Twin track on National Ave, chugging (or sipping) a beer in between each lap. Think you have what it takes?

Couple of important notes on some questions we’ve received:

We WILL have NA beer available for those that wish to participate that way. Please let us know during signups if you’d prefer an NA beer as well as before your heat starts (it’ll also be marked on your bib) because we want to be extra careful accommodating those requests.

There are also still slots for two-person relay teams if you don’t want to do it alone. We can’t wait for this inaugural event to be another success! Sign up in bio.

REMINDER: we are CLOSED on Saturday, May 30th and will switch to summer hours starting on Monday, meaning we’re only open W-Su through July.

Just a friendly reminder, SUMMER HOURS START NEXT WEEK! That means we’ll be closed Mondays and Tuesdays through the end of July. No other hours are changing.

We will also be closed this Saturday, 5/30, for Pride. Sorry for all of the crazy hour changes, but we’ll see you when we see you. Let’s have a great week!

We might be closed for Memorial Day today, but it’s still a good day to share how close we are to reaching our goal for the school year to pay off student lunch debts. I know we’ll get to the point someday where we can pay off the whole damn thing, but I’m SO incredibly proud of this number.

It’s never easy, but it’s never done alone. Spread the message, not the mess.
