Someone on threads called this a “weak moment” and to not focus on the weak moments. Being stressed and overwhelmed is not weak. It’s pushed on us by all of the pressures we endure as parents. Fresh toy rotation is giving me all the happy vibes. 😊

First everything came off the shelves and were placed in a pile. Then I took out the toys that they use regularly and put those in a pile. We store our out of rotation toys in the garage, so some of those came back into the playroom and so did a few from their room. Sometimes just moving the toys location can make it feel new again. The toys from before went in either the garage in storage or went up to their room.

When doing a rotation, I also love moving around the furniture/larger toy items. This is always my favorite part. Moving furniture around is my jam. Anyone else feel this way? 😅 It drives my husband bonkers.
