The Hugh Watson American Legion Post 190 & St. Charles VFW have teamed up with the City of St. Charles to create a beautiful new Veteran's Memorial -- granite memorial bricks are available to honor veterans and a dedication is planned in August 2019.

We are proud to have supplied and installed the nine (9) beautiful flagpoles that now serve as a permanent tribute to freedom in downtown St. Charles, MN

The Holmen, WI American Legion is bringing the Vietnam Memorial Moving Wall to the Holmen High School, May 8-11. We are proud to have contributed to this project by erecting these three beautiful flagpoles and installing the concrete commemorative area.

We are happy to make this donation in memory of Jeff Fortsch. He is an eternal example for all of us of selfless giving and a joyful spirit.

Thanks to Ken's Equipment for Bobcat/auger use, Phil Kalmes/Hardware Hank for donating Quikcrete....also, big thanks to Curt Benter/City of Lewiston, Ted Hess and Matt Essig for assistance in the installation.

Our new 35 ft. Flag Pole was installed today! Special thanks to Joel Hennessy, Flags & Poles Int'l, and The Crossings Center - A Regional Family Event & Youth Center for donating the pole in memory of FF Jeff Fortsch! We hope to have a dedication ceremony in the near future when the flags arrive!

Join us in congratulating JOANN ZIEGEWEID (The Flag Lady) on her retirement! Joann is the founder of Flags & Poles Int'l. She and her husband Lyle started the Minnesota City, MN based company in 1990. Joann, age 84, wants to focus on her bucket list and spend more time with family and friends. We thank Joann for her contribution to the flag and flagpole industry. And, we thank her for many years of quality service to our region. My wife, Jodi, and I are proud to be the new owners of her business and carry on her passion of helping Americans display their patriotism and love for country. We will work hard to provide the same loyal service to the region from our new location at The Crossings Center, a youth and family center, just a few short miles away in Lewiston, Minnesota. We are excited to showcase our products at the Lewiston Area Veterans' Memorial. Come visit!
