Don't forget we have our anniversary sale going on!!

These are agni manitite. Agni Manitite, also known as the "Pearl of Fire," is a natural silica-rich glass (a highly debated tektite or obsidian) found in Indonesia. Derived from the Sanskrit agni mani (pearl of divine fire), it is prized in crystal healing for activating the solar plexus and root chakras to enhance personal power and manifestation.

Origins and GeologyFormation: The exact origins of Agni Manitite are debated. While crystal sellers often market it as an extraterrestrial tektite formed by a meteorite impact, geological experts classify it as water-rolled natural obsidian (volcanic glass).

Location: The stone is exclusively found on the Indonesian island of Java, with most deposits lying deep on the ocean floor, making it rare and highly sought-after.

Physical Characteristics

Appearance: Dark charcoal grey, smoky, or black in natural light. When illuminated by a strong light, it glows translucent brown or grey.

Texture: Stones typically feature a smooth, pitted, and grooved surface caused by natural water erosion.

Metaphysical and Healing Properties

Chakra Alignment: Primarily tied to the Root and Solar Plexus chakras, it is used to stimulate courage, creativity, and inner vitality.

Spiritual Uses: Practitioners use it for grounding, psychic protection, and accelerating spiritual transformation.

Shop hours are Thursday-Saturday 10:00-7:00 and Sunday 11:00-5:00.

What is it Wednesday? These are sweetgrass braids. A sweetgrass braid is a sacred herb used in Indigenous North American cultures, widely considered the "hair of Mother Earth". Braiding it signifies love, care, and our relationship with nature. The braid's physical structure—three sections of interwoven grass—represents the unity of mind, body, and spirit.

The Structure and Symbolism

A traditional sweetgrass braid is woven with 21 total strands (usually divided into three sections of seven). Each section carries profound spiritual and cultural meaning:

The First Section (The Past): Represents the seven generations behind us. It honors ancestors and reminds us that who we are today comes from their strength.

The Second Section (The Present): Represents the Seven Sacred Teachings (or Seven Grandfathers): Love, Respect, Honesty, Courage, Wisdom, Truth, and Humility.

The Third Section (The Future): Represents the seven generations ahead of us. It acts as a reminder that our current actions affect the children and grandchildren yet to come.

Why the Grass is Braided

Beyond spiritual teachings, the physical act of braiding demonstrates unity. A single blade of sweetgrass is fragile and easily broken, but when woven together, the braid becomes incredibly strong. This symbolizes the strength of family and community.

Common Uses

Sweetgrass is highly respected and serves several purposeful roles:

Smudging and Purification: The dried braid is often lit and then gently blown out, allowing it to smolder. The sweet, vanilla-like smoke is believed to attract good spirits and clear negative energy from a space, person, or object.

Aromatherapy: The braid retains a sweet, fragrant scent for years without being burned, and is often hung in homes or cars to promote peace and positive energy.

Ceremonial Offerings: It is frequently used to open prayers, ceremonies, and talking circles to invite positive thoughts and kindness.

Shop hours are Thursday-Saturday 10:00-7:00 and Sunday 11:00-5:00.

Today is about black mica. These are black mica obelisk. Black mica, also known as biotite, is a common phyllosilicate mineral famous for its flexible sheet-like layers and reflective, metallic luster. Composed largely of iron and magnesium, it is primarily used in geological studies and metaphysical practices.

Key Properties

Composition: A sheet silicate containing potassium, iron, magnesium, aluminum, and silica.

Appearance: Dark black to deep green, opaque, often found in layered clusters known as "books".

Texture: Soft (can be scratched with a penny) and known for perfect basal cleavage, allowing it to easily flake off into paper-thin sheets.Abundance: Makes up about 7% of the Earth's continental crust and is commonly found in igneous and metamorphic rocks like granite and gneiss.

Crystal Healing & Metaphysical Uses

In spiritual and holistic practices, black mica is valued for its protective and grounding energy.

Grounding: Said to stabilize the aura, clear negative emotions, and connect the user to the earth's energy.

Mental Clarity: Believed to help "cut through insignificant details" and enhance third-eye and crown chakra visions.

Shop hours are Thursday-Saturday 10:00-7:00 and Sunday 11:00-5:00.

These cuties are a malachite bear and a malachite elephant.

Malachite/ˈmaləˌkīt/Malachite is a vibrant, green-banded copper carbonate mineral that is historically famous for its stunning swirling patterns. Its name comes from the Greek word malakos (meaning "soft") or malache (referring to the green mallow plant). It is renowned for both its aesthetic beauty and its rich symbolic and metaphysical properties.

Core Meaning & Symbolism

Stone of Transformation: Spiritually, malachite is known as the ultimate "Stone of Transformation". It is believed to help users break outdated habits, embrace personal growth, and navigate significant life changes.

Emotional Guardian: It is frequently used for clearing negative energy, establishing healthy emotional boundaries, and healing deep emotional wounds or past traumas.

Wealth and Luck: In the realm of crystals and manifesting, it is considered a stone of prosperity, often referred to as the "Stone of Money" or "Stone of Luck". It is believed to attract new opportunities and protect wealth.

Historical Significance

Ancient Egypt: Highly valued since antiquity, it was ground into a fine powder by ancient Egyptians and used as an eye shadow (most famously by Cleopatra) and as a vibrant pigment for wall paintings. It symbolized eternal youth and new life.

Middle Ages: It was carried as a protective talisman to ward off the "evil eye", protect travelers from misfortune, and soothe physical ailments.

Decorative Art: Historically, large blocks of malachite were carved into ornate vases, pillars, and sculptures, notably seen in the famous Malachite Room in Russia’s Winter Palace.

Shop hours are Thursday-Saturday 10:00-7:00 and Sunday 11:00-5:00.

Do you need a Norse God in your life? We have you covered. Norse Gods are the deities from the pre-Christian religion of the Scandinavian peoples, famous for their rich, fatalistic myths and division into two distinct tribes: the warlike Aesir and the nature-focused Vanir. They are heavily characterized by their human flaws, passions, and their ultimate, foretold doom at Ragnarök. Come in and check out our selection of them.
