We will be happy to discuss your performance needs and to arrange for your instrument to be delivered, tuned and customized to your requirements. We pride ourselves on our impeccable and friendly service. Whereas many of our regular clients include well known artists performing in New York's most prestigious concert halls, we are equally eager to satisfy our lesser known clientele. We regularly provide instruments for educational institutions, small concert venues, and parties. Part of the service we provide is helping select the right instrument for the situation. There are many sizes of harpsichords, with different sound qualities and different dispositions. Tunings and temperaments must match the needs of the performers. Most of our instruments can be tuned to any desired pitch and temperament. This site is designed to help understand and resolve some of these issues. It has been a long time since we have updated this page, but we will start posting more updates as time goes by. We will try to use this page to share our news, views, considerations, insights and our network with you.

As many of you know, our first piece of news to be shared is that the founder of Baroque Keyboards llc, world class performer and pioneer in the NYC baroque community, Edward Brewer passed away on April 3, 2020.

He departed this world peacefully in the loving company of his wife Virginia and daughter Diana at his side at home.

He is missed every day. Yet, his passion, courage, artistry and commitment to baroque music live in the hearts of those who knew him, and the baroque community at large.
