and on a Saturday morning.
1) my goal this summer is to lift 3 days a week and walk a 5k at least 4 days a week. I did not feel like lifting yesterday but did it anyway and was glad I did.
2) so thankful for beautiful mornings so I can pray my rosary on the front porch while drinking my functional coffee. Rosary for my soul, functional coffee to fire up my brain for the day.
3) my current favorite way to treat myself at the end of the day - a jar of our our raw Guernsey milk with extra chocolate in it 😋
4) we had a lot of rain in a short amount of time on Thursday. The power of water and the damage it can do is amazing. We have fence to fix in several places now.
5) I will never tire of seeing a Kansas sunset. My favorite color is “Kansas sunset.”
6) Clarabell lets me catch her and give her all the scratches until you have a halter. A few minutes after this pic was taken, Kinzie came out with a halter and she was gone. She made us chase her through all the muddy parts of the paddock before stopping and letting me halter her like she hadn’t just got me covered in mud from the knee down. And no, of course I was not wearing the appropriate footwear for the situation😏
7) Once haltered and walked to the house, Clarabell enjoys all the attention and spa time a little girl can give her❤️
