one of the many versions of my budah bowls/power bowls/protein bowls, whatever you wanna call them🤷‍♀️ my hubby + i have these at least once or twice a week. they’re so clean, so easy, and we never get tired of them because you can make them whatever you want! we change them up every single time, and you can really put anything in them. i try to make sure to keep lots of protein in them, lots of color, and a starch of some sort. sometimes we even do vegetarian power bowls. make em however you want, friend!! 🤗✨

MAN-PLEASING CHICKEN~ AKA WORLD'S BEST CHICKEN Recipe from Metabolic Cookbook: http://tiny.cc/Metabolic

- 1 package of skinless chicken breast
- 1/2 c. Dijon mustard
- 1/4 c. Maple syrup (I would use sugar free and sweeten it with Stevia)
- 1 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar
- Fresh rosemary
- Salt and pepper
DIRECTIONS:
To make this chicken, which you should absolutely do immediately, preheat your oven to 450ºF. Then, mix together 1/2 cup of Dijon mustard, 1/4 cup of maple syrup, and 1 tablespoon of rice/rice wine vinegar.

Put a 1.5 pound package of chicken breasts into a foil-lined, oven-proof baking dish. Six chicken breast came in my package, which made enough to serve 3 people. Then, salt and pepper the breasts . Pour your maple mustard mixture over them, turning the breasts in the mixture so they are fully coated.

Put the chicken into the oven, and let them bake for 40 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 165ºF. Baste the tops of the chicken with more sauce half way through. I find that a meat thermometer is essential in cooking because it allows me to check for doneness without cutting into the meat and losing its precious juices. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Plate the chicken, making sure to spoon some extra sauce over the top. Sprinkle over some fresh rosemary. If there is ever a time to use fresh herbs, THIS IS IT! The flavors are just so good together. Enjoy the savory goodness of this, Enjoy !!

So simple, delicious, and lasts for several months - so double or triple this recipe.

I think a small glass container of this spice taco mix would make a wonderful gift for your Clean Foodie Friends too!

Ingredients:
2 Tbsps chili powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp paprika
3 tsps ground cumin
2 tsps sea salt
2 tsps ground black pepper
Instructions:
In a small mixing bowl, whisk all ingredients until combined well.
Store in an airtight container.

For using in recipes, start with a smaller sprinkle - taste test to decide the amount of spice for your family's taste.
