New Block Party Block of the Month announced today! Are you ready for a vacation? This new block party theme is exactly that- "Vacations".

We have 2 lovely colorways to choose from:

Shabby Sanctuary features a soft color palette of shabby chic-inspired fabrics with an off-white background. This will put you in a daydream of a lazy summer morning with the sounds of water flowing in a nearby creek with crickets and frogs singing a new tune all while sipping tea on your porch swing!

Bermuda Bungalow features an assortment of eye-catching batiks with a modern smoke gray background for a sophisticated and modern look. Close your eyes and you will be back on a tropical beach, listening to the waves and sipping a refreshing beverage of your choice.

Pictures are a sample of the color palette and fabrics. Much more will be added as the months progress. Like both colorways? Why not do both!!

Block Party info below:

1) Come in person to the shop on the designated Block Party Day (2nd Saturday or 2nd Monday of each month starting in September) with your finished prior month block to get the discounted price of $4.50. If you choose to do both colorways, one is discounted and one is the normal price of $7.00.

2) If you cannot come in on the designated Block Party Day, you can come any time after those days with or without your finished block and pay the normal price of $7.00.

3) We do mail for those of you who would like to participate! Mailers are $6.50 for the block and additional $6.50 for shipping (tracked). Give us a call and we can add you to the list!

4) This is a mystery type of quilt. We don't always know what the next block will look like until Block Party Day!

5) This is a 12-month long block of the month program. Finishing kits will be unveiled at month 10 or 11.

Our patterns are confident beginner friendly and a great way to learn something new!
