On Oct. 22, 2022, at 5:18 p.m. EDT, the Sun meets up with Venus in the final degrees of Libra — an event coined the Venus Star Point by astrologer Arielle Guttman. While Venus Star Points technically occur every few months, this particular Star Point is special because it's the first time the Sun and Venus have met in Libra, and at the same degree, in 150 years.

Tomorrow, both the Sun and Venus dive into the deep, dark realms of Scorpio but before they take the leap, their union in Libra can bring harmonious energy to your Saturday evening plans. A spotlight shines on relationships, beauty and all things of value. Astronomically, Venus joins the Sun in a superior solar conjunction once every synodic cycle (584 days). This marks the end of Venus' stint as a morning star. For the next several weeks, she'll be unobservable behind the light of the Sun as she transitions to evening star status.
