Well 2 years ago i stopped crafting when i was dealing with thyroid cancer. I recently started crafting again.

I made this as a gift for my sweet retired neighbor who has become a good friend in the last 8 years to me. Its not completely finished as I have yet to make the handle and attach it. It will be able to sit on a flat surface or hung on a wall with the handle that i make for it.

I had a vision of what I wanted to make her 1st then I proceeded in making that vision.
I sanded and then stained the wood 1st. I used a picture from an old calendar I had. I used the background of that same picture to put a border on the flower box and I also put this on the additional hearts on this project. I painted the lace pink around the border and put some pink on the pine cone too.

I think she will love this, at least I hope she does.
What do you guys think? Im torn on making the handle either pink and purple or pink and white or purple and white??? Whats your guys thoughts on the handle colors which will be 2 colors....
