Lately I’ve been getting a lot of questions about gold filled jewelry and how it differs from gold plated styles. Quick answer is gold filled jewelry is a step-up from gold plated and a more affordable alternative to solid gold. A thicker layer of gold is permanently bonded onto base metal making it more durable, tarnish resistant and hypo-allergenic!
