Warner to formalize patchwork quilting designs she was teaching in area quilt shops. The current collection includes patterns for large and small quilts, a yearly quilted Christmas stocking that features a miniature, detachable teddy bear, and several titles with LDS interest. Instructions feature traditional methods such as hand and machine patchwork, hand appliqué, and machine paper foundation patchwork.

Ten day trip to London to visit relatives who are Senior Missionaries in Hyde Park Chapel visitors center. Best experiences were outside of London City boundaries. Here are pictures from Hever and Arundale Castles, London Temple in moonlight, Big Ben and Parliament, and the most "forgettable" of all, our positive COVID19 tests. Glad to be home to recuperate.

Hearthsewn as a pattern publishing outlet has officially been closed. Other pursuits have taken over my life, and that's not a bad thing. My creative energy now goes into paper craft design, something I enjoy more than I thought I would when daughter Kenzie and her husband Mike Daley dragged me kicking and screaming into this arena. Some of the patterns may still be available as mail order retail purchases through the mail. But for now, its "happy trails".

The new Hearthse'twn Patterns website has been launched today. If you haven't visited the website recently (or ever) I invite you to go to hearthsewnpatterns.com and see how wonderful it looks.
Thanks to my webmaster Riley for the update, something we have been hoping to get done for at least 5 years. If you have the old web address cached, you will need to refresh (hit refresh) on your computer to tell the search engine that you don't want the old stored information. We are so excited. Just released is a new Hearthsewn holiday pattern called "PepperMint Pathway: Christmas Countdown. Magnetic swirl candies wrapped in fine glitter tulle are placed over the day numbers on the fusible applique pathway to help time go by faster 'til Christmas can get here. In the center is an elaborate candy and gingerbread house, all machine fusible appliqued. A red-letter day for me. My first digital designs appeared as part of the offerings through Snapdragon Snippets on Silhouette America's online store. Kenzie is my mentor, my inspiration, my shepherd, my advisor, my friend, my wonderful daughter to help me achieve this milestone (and Mikey, too--except for the daughter part). Here is a paper quilt made from one of the selected designs. Surprising for a past-middle aged lady like me!
