This is my fire Cake platter. The top is made from Oak Pallets. The second layer is made from pieces of maple, poplar, and pecan. The third layer is made from black walnut, maple and poplar. The forth layer is made up of pecan, poplar and maple. The 5th layer is made up of maple and pecan. The bottom trim is made up of pecan. The top 5 layers and finished with high speed wax. the bottom is finished with boiled linseed oil( to help the dish not to be so slick on the table. All pieces are glued using water proof glue.
