There are certain projects that mean a little more because they allow you to use your gifts to support a greater purpose.
I was honored to be asked to curate and design these custom Louisiana Starter Kits for the Kitsap Admirals Youth Basketball Clinic & Mental Health Night fundraiser. Knowing that these gifts will help raise funds for a program focused on youth development and mental health awareness made this project especially meaningful.

Every detail was intentionally selected to create more than just a gift basket. I wanted to create an experience. From authentic Louisiana meal starters and specialty ingredients to serving pieces, kitchen accessories, and keepsake wooden crates, each gift was thoughtfully curated to bring people together around great food and great memories.

At V. Marie Curated Luxe, I believe gifting should feel personal, elevated, and unforgettable. What an incredible honor.

On June 7, 2026, I had the privilege of creating custom gift baskets for Pastor Chance Lewis and First Lady Sarah Lewis in celebration of the City of DeRidder's mayoral inauguration held at First United Pentecostal Church in DeRidder, Louisiana.

When designing these gifts, I wanted each basket to reflect appreciation for the countless hours of service, leadership, encouragement, and support that pastors and their families provide to their congregation and community.

For Pastor Chance, I created an Americana-inspired appreciation basket featuring snacks, a traveler's journal, a devotional journal designed specifically for pastors, a tumbler, and other thoughtful items intended to encourage and refresh him as he continues serving others.

For First Lady Sarah, I designed a Relax and Release self care basket filled with spa-inspired items, sweet treats, devotional gifts, and practical accessories. I included a clipboard and notebook for ministry and committee work, along with a small devotional gift set complete with a bookmark and pen. My hope was that it could be enjoyed personally or even passed along as a thoughtful blessing to someone else when needed.

I also included items such as a bath bomb, facial mask, eye mask, foot mask, Philosophy bath and body products, and candies that could be enjoyed during moments of rest or shared with visitors in her office.

Every gift basket tells a story. This one was about gratitude, service, leadership, and honoring those who faithfully pour into the lives of others every day.

It was an honor to have V. Marie Curated Luxe represented during such an important occasion for the City of DeRidder. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of this special celebration.
