A new project I have been working on the past few days it is a hollowed log the outside has mostly been sanded but I still have to work on the inside there is a lot you can do with a hollowed log it can be a pot or really anything you can think of.

Here is my newest walking stick it took a little bit of time but it turned out great you can see the early stages of wood rot with the black lines and the greys on the wood it is light but very strong and has a danish oil finish on it.

Here is more of that walking stick the words on it are in Latin with some words from the Bible from psalm 121:7-8 it has a smaller Celtic cross in a little nutch of the wood. The words in Latin is fortune favors the bold.

Here is part of a walking stick I have been working on it is a Celtic cross the wood is a locust wood I will post more about when it is nearly done. sticks

A new walking stick I tried something new with it by adding some wood burns and paint it is made out of a locust wood it has aged so it has some natural colors from the early stage of rot the wood is still strong and works amazing it is also light and durable.

The project is finshed on this honey locust flat with the live edge the wood burn took awhile but it was worth it, the finshed work looks great especially the grain color.

Here are some of my finshed projects they are made out of a honey locust, if you line them up you can see how they all fit in and have that unique black line they each have there own unique design on them carved in and burned in.

Here is one of my most recent projects it is a paper towel holder with a yellow locus flat and an aged locus shaft it was treated with a bees wax oil.

Here is the newest walking stick it is made out of sycamore wood that has been left out for awhile it hit early wood rot so it has the lines and colors I left some of the bark on to work as a perfect handle with grips

Here’s the newest walking stick it’s a locus wood stick with different natural colors it has grey and some dark brown spots on the wood and you can see the beautiful grain pattern where branch’s use to be.
