WE GOT THE KEYS!

We’re so excited to now have access to our new location at 9 West Market Street and construction has already begun. We’ll be open in the new space on October 1.

In the meantime, we’re open right next door in our existing location at 11 West Market Street with our fully inventory of books and plants, 15 monthly book clubs, author events, plant workshops, and more. As we continue preparing our new space, we’ll keep you posted on how you can support our big move.

Join Birch Tree at Wonder on Saturday, August 1st from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for an afternoon of Waldo activities. The party will also feature gelato from Gogo’s, Pikes Peak Lemonade, and a booth of fun goodies from Hare and Hen to celebrate the end of the Waldo search in Downtown Leesburg! There will also be a Waldo costume contest, so feel free to dress up.

Remember to turn in your passports at Birch Tree bookstore by July 31st to be entered into the raffle to win special prizes such as a deluxe set of Waldo books and more! Attending the party will increase your chances of winning a prize by giving you an additional entry into the raffle. See you there!

From our very first farmer’s market pop up, we knew that being an integral part of our community would be the most important aspect of our shop. Books unite us, encourage us to have big conversations, and force us to think outside the boxes we’re so often stuck in. 

Six years later, with Foliage Plant Shop right alongside us, we’re thrilled to announce that we’re moving! Again! Between our 15 book clubs and amazing community partners, we’ve outgrown our current space and are thrilled to be able to expand…right next door!

Starting next month, we’re transforming 9 West Market Street into the same bookstore and plant shop you know and love, just with even more space for books, plants, book clubs, author events, plant workshops, and more. We’ll keep you posted on our progress, and can’t wait to open our new doors in October.
