We’ve been absent for awhile on this page. September 2024 we moved the goats and chickens out to Dads. It was a heartbreak for me and the girls. We were amazed how quiet our house was then…and I felt really alone and sad. It carried into the winter and still, lonely. However, we know they’re in excellent hands and thriving with Dads herd.

Born Thursday, another little critter! Freida had a little ONE! In previous years she’s had two. The girls wanted to bring this one home, but we need more space in order to do that. Soon.

One of our chickens is MIA. Clues that it was the fox are: 1) Missing chicken, 2)Feathers all over the yard, 3)Rest of the chickens were hiding.

BOLO: Fox of any kind.
Of course the camera was too low in battery to catch the bandit red handed. 🤬😡11 chickens left.

Had two cuties born last night about 10:30. Fraida (mom) is taking good care of them. Names? Both girls!
