Cowboy Christmas Event

We're sorry to announce that we won't have a Cowboy Christmas Event for 2024. We've found that it's a tough time of year to try to have this kind of sale with competing events and we're a relatively small and out-of-the way venue. If people have any suggestions for this event going forward, we'd love to hear them. One idea we have is to move this event to the Saturday after Thanksgiving so we're not competing with the Town & Country Bazaar in Albany. Another idea is to morph this to a tack sale in spring that isn't so far for people to travel to as Canby, and we don't charge for booth space and are very flexible for vendors in when/how they want to set up. We've got a whole trailer full of used horse tack to sell! There will be some plants and garage sale items as well. All part of the Lacomb Community Garage Sales, if you love going to garage sales, you'll want to be in our neighborhood next Saturday! Proceeds from our items benefit Hand In Hand Farm's ministry for troubled families.

We'd like to turn this into a two-day event, Saturday and Sunday, the weekend after Thanksgiving. Sunday would start with Cowboy Church. Vendors could sign up for Saturday or Sunday, or both. What does everyone think?

Vendor info for the 2023 Cowboy Christmas Event:

*Our themes are horsey, cowboy, country, or Christmas. We're trying to stick with handmade or carefully selected collections of new or used goods. It's okay if you have a Tupperware or that type of business represented, but it should only be part of your display.

*Booth space is free, make a donation to Hand In Hand Farm if you wish.

*Event will be held in our indoor arena at 35105 Ede Road Lebanon, OR.

*Setup on Friday, December 1, 9 am to 6 pm, or Saturday, December 2, starting at 6:30 am, have your car out of loading area by 8:30 am. If you'd like to use a trailer in your display or bring it into the arena, definitely arrange to come on Friday or even Thursday afternoon. We have space for turning a trailer around or you could drop it on the property, you just can't stay in it overnight. Also, do not bring dogs.

*We prefer that you can serve customers the entire 9 am to 4 pm sale, but if you start to pack your more difficult items starting at 3 pm that's okay.

*Lighting is decent, but you might want to have battery-powered lights, especially if displaying jewelry or the like. Supplying electricity may be possible, but wish to avoid if we can. We do have wi-fi available.

*You can bring a small propane heater for personal use if you want. It could realistically be quite chilly, it's dry with the wind blocked, however.

*We will have free hot drinks on site, we don't know if we have a food vendor yet so plan on bringing a sack lunch.

We forgot to get pictures, but we just restocked our consignments at Out West. The items added yesterday were a 14" western saddle, halters, rope halter sets, a western breast collar, and several pairs of boots (human). Go check it out and support our mission while you get some great deals for yourself! Christmas the year round!

Hand In Hand Farm is going to have a large booth at this tack sale tomorrow! Bringing a whole cargo trailer's worth and using 4 spaces!
