A wonderful event!

The latter part of Joshua 24:15 reads, "...as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." How sweet a prayer to pray over families.

Please join us on Thursday, May 2 at noon at the Olson Cultural Events Center in downtown Le Mars as we gather to worship and pray for our community, state, and nation. Lunch from Habitué Coffeehouse & Bakery starts at 11:30 with the program starting at noon.

This is a great event for anyone interested in reading the message as part of a larger group.

In cooperation with the Iowa Bible Reading Marathon, we are reading through the entire Bible. Join us on Thursday and Friday, October 5-6, at the Plymouth County Courthouse grounds as we read the entirety of God's Word. We'll gather from 8-4 on both days. If you would rather read in the comfort of your home, you can do that too!

Back to School Prayer- Almighty God, we thank you for the start of a new school year full of promise! Bless our students with courage and strength to face the challenges that come their way. Help them to make wise decisions that will lead to positive outcomes. Give them patience and perseverance so they can stay focused and not give up when life gets hard.

Guide their teachers, administrators, and staff as they navigate this school year with grace, Godly wisdom, and clarity. Bring peace, joy, and contentment into their lives as they learn from home or in classrooms. May we all be reminded of the importance of building each other up rather than tearing one another down. Be with and guide our school bus drivers as they bring our students to and from school. Thank you for this new school year, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

My end of the work day routine?

It includes putting my feet up and reading one verse out of the Bible outloud. Our office cat, Chester, thinks it's the perfect time to jump on my lap to take a little cat nap. 😀
