With the Hot Ash, we realized that we could make a camping, backpacking stove that made it easy to cook, boil water, and a myriad of other things in an efficient and safe manner. The design of this stove uses the principles of primary, and secondary burns that help get rid of harmful creosotes that are found in traditional campfires. Once you have lit your fuel, the fire will b

urn sideways because of drafted air. This air hits the back of the stove, creating turbulence - and thus a secondary burn. Because of the bottom chamber, pre-heated air combines with the secondary burn to create a super hot fire. This extremely hot fire, is capable of burning harmful fumes that are bad for you and the environment.
