The sky and the sea distanced themselves to make us children of this land. The sky gave us dew and the sea gave us its veins and thus life was sown in each corner where the green color that beautifies our land sprouts.

The backpack is one of the most representative elements of the indigenous peoples of the Caribbean. It is used to transport personal items, coca leaves or travel items. In the case of women, the backpack is loaded on the head and stores the objects necessary to survive any crossing. "The backpack is one of the freest symbols of the creation of life, that is, the womb of the universal mother" - Julio Marino Barragán

The weaves are the reflection of our spiritual world, in which the divine takes life in the form of rain, in the form of the sun; in the form of wind, in the form of the moon; in the form of a river, in the form of the sea.

Why this bracelet takes 6 days to be made?

that was the question that we ask to ourself when we heard about this bracelet for the first time.

therefor we wanted to see with our own eyes if what they told us in that moment was real.

then we went to a small town where the sun shines like gold molten for the highest temperatures and the sky meets the beautiful rivers that cover all the plains.

this town is in the north side of Colombia in South America and we couldn't believe what we saw in that place...

what we found in that little town was just amazing but what we learned changed our lives for ever.

We find that the six-day process is totally real, and this is the art of weaving a palm leaf called Caña Flecha.

This art is more than 700 years old.

The whole process is 100% handmade, from cutting the palm, dyeing it and braiding it, and all its materials are given by the land in which they live.

But this is what changed our lives!

we could see how they work under the bright sun that heats the ground and with firm and delicate hands at the same time they print all their efforts to bring their art to life once again every day.

even when more than 500 years have passed since they were expelled from the lands that belonged to them.

With there bare hands and an art that have passed from generation to generation.

Their only goal is to weave the Caña Flecha fibers in order to weave a future where they can recover everything that was taken from them.

This is the art of the Caña Flecha (Cane Arrow)
where the fibers of love are woven.
