How much of what we believe comes from scripture itself, and how much comes from tradition?

Watch this featured video for The Untold Story of Satan’s Seed by David Pinkston, a compelling exploration of biblical interpretation, faith, and spiritual understanding. Last Friday, Judith Partelow spent the afternoon with our Cumberland Mall readers, reading from Passion & Provocation and sharing poems shaped by sorrow, joy, love, memory, and family.

Her signing gave readers a closer look at the collection's tender range: womanhood, longing, grief, humor, and the family ties that stay with us.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. Tell us which part of the afternoon stayed with you.

At the LA Times Festival of Books, faith-focused author John Fontana spoke with The Reading Glass Books about the inspiration behind his book, Why I Believe in the Beauty and Truth of the Catholic Faith.

As a 66-year-old Catholic who taught CCD for 10 years, he saw how many young people lacked a clear understanding of their faith's history and doctrine. His book brings together Catholic history, Jewish history, Protestant history, the history of the mystics, and Church doctrine in one place.

Stay through the interview for a light blooper from the RGB team.
