After a lot of thought, consideration, prayer, and planning, I am saddened but also incredibly thankful to announce that we have made the decision to sell Sno Bro’s Shaved Ice.
What started as a dream of mine when I was just 8 years old became a reality, and it’s hard to put into words just how much this little business has meant to my family and me. What began as an idea and a childhood dream turned into something bigger than I ever could have imagined. Sno Bro’s gave me the opportunity to meet so many amazing people, be a part of countless events, learn what it truly means to run a business, and make memories that I know I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
I can’t put into words how thankful I am for every shaved ice bought, every smiling face that walked up to the window, every event that invited us to be a part of their special day, every person who shared one of our posts, and every single person who supported us along the way. Whether you came by once or became one of our regular customers, I am so thankful for your support.
These past two years have brought more growth, learning, and new opportunities than I ever expected. Running Sno Bro’s taught me lessons that I could have never learned in a classroom. I learned about hard work, responsibility, customer service, finances, problem-solving, time management, and most importantly, the value of having a community that supports you.
Although this decision didn’t come easily, I believe it is what is best for my family and me as I focus more on school and the new opportunities ahead of me before eventually heading off to college. There are so many things I want to accomplish over the next few years, and I know that sometimes moving forward means being willing to close one chapter—even when it has been a dream come true.
From the public eye, Sno Bro’s may look like nothing but fun, making shaved ice, talking to customers, and traveling to events. And while there has been plenty of fun, the behind-the-scenes work is a lot more than most people would ever imagine. There were countless hours spent making syrups, preparing for events, keeping everything organized, and, of course, making sure we had enough ice. 😂
I especially can’t thank my family enough for being my biggest supporters through every part of this adventure. They believed in this dream right alongside me and helped make it possible. I truly could not have done any of this without them.
And to Lawrenceburg—thank you. Thank you for showing up, spreading the word, inviting us to your events, and always showing us so much love. This community has supported me in more ways than I could ever fit into one post.
If I could choose to live anywhere in the world, I would choose Lawrenceburg time and time again. There is something really special about living in a community that shows up when it matters most.
While it is definitely bittersweet to see this chapter come to an end for me, I’m also excited about what the future holds—not only for me, but hopefully for Sno Bro’s as well. I would love nothing more than to see someone else take what we started, make it their own, and continue serving the community that supported us from day one. We would absolutely love to keep Sno Bro’s local, so if you or your family have ever dreamed of owning a small business and are ready to tackle a new adventure, we would love to talk with you.

No matter where life takes me next, Sno Bro’s will always be one of the chapters I’m most proud of. 🍧🤙
With love, Boone and the Sno Bro’s Family 💙
