Hi, I am Anna Bauer Satterwhite, the owner and President of Bauer's Candies, Inc. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about my company, our product and our proud tradition. We produce the famous "Modjeska" originally named, "Caramel Biscuit", a rich confection my Great Grandfather began producing in 1889. The "Modjeska" is a homemade creamy marshmallow center hand dipped into a rich

and creamy homemade caramel. We still make the Modjeskas the old fashioned way and use only the best ingredients. Please take a few moments to click on our site and learn more about the Modjeska and its intriguing history. Someone who loves you may have given you a box of Modjeskas as a gift or you may have seen them at the many retail outlets that carry our product not only in Kentucky, but also around the country. If you would like to send one or several boxes as a gift by mail order, please let us know. We will be happy to take all the work out of your gift giving by wrapping your gifts and personalizing each one for you. Your clients, employees, friends or family will never forget the experience. Their mouths will water at the memory for days afterward. This is not only a fabulous holiday tradition to many but also a wonderful gift throughout the rest of the year. We ship candy daily via UPS with a normal turnaround time of 3-5 days.
