The present Glenn Miller Orchestra was formed in 1956 and has been touring consistently since, playing an average of 300 live dates a year all around the world. Get your tickets to see the Nashville First Baptist Sanctuary Choir Christmas Concert on Thursday, December 1st at Crockett Theatre!

The Nashville First Baptist Sanctuary Choir is the most active musical group in the Nashville First Baptist Church as they lead the congregation in worship each Sunday and present major concerts and musicals throughout the year in many exciting, creative, and compelling ways. The annual Carol-Candlelight Celebration, Keyboards at Christmas presentations, and non-seasonal musical events are highly acclaimed in the Greater Nashville community. The Sanctuary Choir has performed at Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Members representing the Nashville First Sanctuary Choir have made appearances at Carnegie Hall, Washington National Cathedral, the Grand Ole Opry House, with the Tennessee Titans, and the great cathedrals of Salzburg and Vienna, Austria.

The Sanctuary Choir is conducted by Worship and Music Pastor, Joe A. Fitzpatrick. The accompanists are Kim Hester and Kenneth Varner. The Worship and Music Ministry Team also includes Music Ministry Assistant, Laurie Hall; Children’s Choir Coordinator, Gwenn Fitzpatrick; Worship and Music Associate, Jason Cox; and Technical Director, Wesley Lankford.
