Why tarot, but not candles?
I have a few neurological disorders including atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia, which is usually the problem when I say I’m not feeling well. Here’s my current reality for context.

Imagine you’ve been punched in the eye.
Now add a constant paper cut on that bruise right under your eye.
Then add the worst sunburn you’ve ever had paired with electric shocks across your cheek that happen randomly multiple times a day.
While all of that is happening you have a migraine, a toothache, and something is trying to rip its way out of your face like the chestbuster scene in Alien.

Air hurts, brushing your teeth hurts, being alive really kinda hurts.

TN is often described as the most severe pain known to medicine and nicknamed the “suicide disease”. So that’s fun. 😬

Anyway, this is why I can’t pour hot wax right now, but I can share cards and music from bed. Xo

I’m doing two tarot popups this weekend and honestly I’m not okay. None of us are. The world is on fire and doing tarot readings feels kinda frivolous, ya know?

But showing up with cards is the only way I know how to connect right now. It’s my way of saying “I see you, I’m here, we’re in this together.”

So, if you need someone to sit with you in the uncertainty, or if you just need to feel less alone for a minute, come find me. Pay what you can. Bring your questions or just bring yourself.

Friday night, I’ll be at in KC from 5-9pm. I’m going to drown my sorrows in a bucket of chatita and can’t wait to try the Love Potion tea with strawberry and rose. I don’t have anything nearly as sparkly and amazing to wear like Walter Mercado, but I’ll do my best!

And Saturday I’ll be hanging with friends at the Love Notes popup from 11am - 4pm. Come make diy valentines, smooch in the free photo booth, and get a reading and a hug.

Thanks for bundling up to come out to the trinket swap last night! The turn out what exactly what I needed, it was quality over quantity and I figured it might be nice to thank you all by name for showing up and being pretty fu***ng wonderful people.
