We hear it all the time! “I want butcher block but I don’t want the maintenance!” It really is so much simpler than you think to keep them looking pristine.

1. Need cleaning? Just some warm water & a mild dish soap is perfect for this. Don’t overthink it!
2. Keep your board or countertop oiled! This is the biggest thing. It only needs it about once a month. By keeping it oiled, you’ll keep any damage to a minimum! Spills are inevitable, so are scratches & dings but keeping your butcher blocked oiled will help keep it protected.

Have a tougher stain? Nothing that some lemon juice/salt or baking soda/water paste can’t tackle!

That’s it! No harsh chemicals, no complicated routines. Just 100% worth it for the beauty and warmth they add to any space.

Now save this for later and send to someone who thinks butcher block is just “too much work” 😉☺️😉☺️
