As some of you may be aware, Anonymous Guitars has been closed since late June due to issues with the City of Lauderhill. Due to these issues, we decided the best course of action was to leave the city of Lauderhill. Thanks to our awesome legal team, we finally got our keys back in September and were able to get into our building and start moving everything out as well as work with the leasing office to terminate our lease. Unfortunately this process as a whole took way longer than it needed to. Our awesome attorney told us not to make any announcements about what was going on until the ink was dry. We’ve finally got the papers we needed and are officially free of our lease and the City of Lauderhill.
That being said, we wanted to let you guys know what’s been going on at AG. So far everything is moved out, and we have a couple of solid prospects in mind. We’re moving forward on reopening as soon as possible. We know some people were worried about the future of AG once we reopened, but we are still going to be doing shows as a music venue and we’re going to keep doing guitar and repair work.
We want to make sure we never have to go through this situation again, and we want to pick the best location for us and for you.
We’re going to keep working on making AG better and we’re going to take your favorite things about what we do, and bring it all to the new location. We also wanted to take the time to reach out to anyone that’s been to AG and ask what your favorite things about any previous location you’ve been to, or what you didn’t like. All of us here at AG feel like we have an opportunity here to do something new. We want to rebuild AG and make it into something better, and we’re asking for your help to do it. Any and all feedback is appreciated.
