I made this skirt adapted from a late 1940s vintage pattern yesterday. Beautiful, functional scalloped pockets. They don't make them like this anymore...Stay tuned for the rest of the outfit. Gotta get ready for Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend!

This is why you haven't seen much new from VaVaVette lately...I have been CRAZY busy creating a whole new line of vintage inspired burlesque costumes for Technicolor Tease. Notice all the empty spaces around the fabric hair flower fascinators? Yeah, we sold a lot at 1940's Ball! I'll have to make some more soon! They were a hit! Thank you to all the lovely ladies who purchased them to wear with their beautiful outfits last night!! And thanks to 303 Magazine for the photo!
