We hit 107 here today. Moved some sand for the chickens. I'll refresh their coops tonight once they roost. The cat's claw and shade from the pine trees keep their run under 100, but sand lowers the temperature an additional 5-8 degrees. Chickens naturally run hot, around 107 degrees, so anything I can do to make them comfortable, I'll do.💚

Last year's all night irrigation session is paying off. These pomegranate and fig trees are loaded with fruit!💚

I'm so far behind, but walking around the property and seeing the progress makes me realize how much I've done. Blue Hopi corn, Blue pumpkins, eggplants, peppers, figs, and more! I still have a lot to get done, but when I get overwhelmed, it helps to take inventory of the things I have done.💚
