Customers and Friends of StitchnPaper,
If you’re wondering where we have been lately and why we’re not in our spot at the Farmers Market every Saturday….
The one and only Patricia Carpenter, Trisha, Trish, Patty, Mom, Auntie and Nana is currently in the thick of it in her cancer journey. If you know her and if you don’t, she has been battling Thyroid cancer for 20 years +. And if you know her and If you don’t, you know she doesnt like to ask for help.
Months ago the cancer morphed and it’s agressive. Her doctor put her on a new chemo treatment that is taking a toll on her.
Again if you know my mom, or don’t yet, she truly is a warrior. She is the strongest woman I know and nothing ever stops her except this. She is fiercely independent, strong and loves hard. She opens her door for everyone and saves everyone a seat at the table.
It’s time to ask the village to help in anyway you can. She needs us. From writing her a letter, sending flowers, Uber gift cards, donating to medical expenses/traveling to her doctot in Albuquerque, or purchasing something from the Amazon list for her- anything helps. Her biggest needs right now are things to help the unrelenting nausea and vomiting.
The family had created a GoFundMe and Amazon wish list to help offset the costs of her travel to Albuquerque for Oncologist visits and to purchase medical supplies and supplements to help her through this journey. Even if you cannot help financially, all the prayers, healing thoughts and just sharing this post alone is a great help! We appreciate you so much and hopefully we will see you soon enough in our regular spot at the
