The lack of practical and rugged field kit spurred him into designing products for his own use. After leaving the Forces in 1985, the Wheelers relocated to New Brunswick, Canada. They established their factory in Fredericton, a 15 min drive from the largest military training base in Canada, CFB Gagetown. This is where the Combat Arms training takes place in Canada. This close proximity to the Training Base has ensured a constant input of fresh ideas from experienced soldiers visiting the Factory Store. Our reputation is based on three principles:
