Good morning, i hope everyone is good this morning after the crazy weather we had last night. There are so many pictures of tornados that hit the area last night. Hope you are all safe and no damage! I'm go glad the humidity and heat are moving on as well. The shop is restocked and ready. Open 11-4 today and Saturday. Sunday 1-4.

Good morning, I feel like I have been MIA for months! we took a much needed break off the internet, and did some hard heavy picking. In the past 5 days we put on almost 1700 miles visiting up state NY. That area has the most beautifulest scenery I've ever seen, I didnt want to be on my phone, I just wanted to enjoy the moments. Its such a heavy historical place and I wanted to stop and photograph everything. My husband's family lives there and gets to see that every day. We climbed some very steep mountains and probably need to replace our breaks on the truck this week. Haha. I have so much work to do as I have been just dumping stuff into the store and locking up. So I'll warn ya now.... If your coming in this week, I feel I wont be organized like I would like to be this week. But I will be open Thursday through Sunday working on it all! June 11-14. Sorry, no shipping this week, I just have to focus on the homestead responsibilities and the store. Hope to see you this weekend!

Ok has anyone else done this? Or is there a better way? For the life of me, I always forget where I stuck seeds in here and there. I just planted dill and lavender seeds in random spots and to prevent myself from pulling and thinking its a w**d, I took pics of exact spots and wrote on them. Maybe this will help me to keep it organized and next year it will be in my memories. Lol Dont laugh!

What would Stephen Harriman (1757-1828) who fought in the revolutionary war think if he knew I was honoring him on the internet today? I salooted him twice and thanked him for his service. While traveling the backroads of Ohio a couple weeks ago, we stumbled upon this beautiful and so peaceful quaker cemetery in the middle of a cornfield. This kind of stuff tugs at me heart. The tall headstone with the sheep on top (missing its head) was a stone of babies from one family. A baby or child on each side of the stone. I cant imagine the pain for this family 💔 in the 1800s and I wondered, what took their lives at such a young age? Im guessing an illness but who knows back then.

I spent the day scrubbing, repairing and more scrubbing while reflecting on Memorial Day. Seed bins go into a different cabinet drying behind me. I reopen June 11th. I hope you all had a peaceful day.

Last night as I was closing down the store, all the lights were off and it was dark. Yet light reached all the way to the back of the store on this beauty. Proving there is light at the end of the tunnel. Ill be open today 11-4 and Sunday 1-4. Then I am closed for 2 weeks. Reopening June 11th with more new goods.
