This article is a bit old but highlights a problem that comes up regularly: what happens when a library needs to deaccession part of its collection? Book lovers often cry foul when books are sold or otherwise discarded, yet they don’t consider the resources required to maintain a collection.

Have you ever been to a rare book fair? After a 2+ year pandemic hiatus, book fairs are back bringing interesting rare books, signed works, and collectable ephemera to the general public for our viewing and collecting pleasure! And especially exciting this year will be the first annual Philadelphia Rare Book Fair, held next month at the Trinity Memorial Church. Congratulations to Philly for getting their own event this year, and I hope to see you there!

Hi friends! It's been a while since I've posted anything on here. But I wanted to take a moment to say hi, and to let you know that I do still have some awesome books for sale and also that I've been hardcore for more than two months now -- so rest assured these books are going out clean and safe!
