Hi everyone, I would like to share a dilemma l am having with doing chocolates this year & l need as much feedback & opinions ASAP. So if I'm to continue i can get my supplies. The problem is that as we all know products & supplies have gone up in price . Some not much thankfully but as I went to order chocolate from my supplier yesterday I was in total shock. Both milk & dark chocolate went up $120+ per 50 # case since I purchased last this past March. You all know how I hate to up my prices but I would have to charge roughly like $20 a pound pretty much across the board to make a little money . As many of you may know I don't even pay myself an employee wage of roughly $35 an hr for my time & chocolate experience. I mostly do it because i enjoy doing & creating things for others. So my question is are you willing to pay possible $20a pound for homemade hand dipped chocolates?
