Our hearts are shattered as we read about the devastating loss and those still missing that struck our neighboring community.

While we were surrounded by the joy and laughter of our own children at church camp—watching them worship, play, and grow—others are facing unthinkable heartbreak.

It’s a sobering reminder that life can change in a moment. That while some are singing songs of praise, others are crying out in sorrow. And yet, in both the joy and the grief, God is near.

To the families enduring this unbearable pain—we see you, we mourn with you, and we lift you in prayer. Your loss is felt deeply, even by those who may not know you personally.

Hold your loved ones close. Speak love freely. Time is precious and fragile. Teach your children about Jesus because we never know when God is ready for them.

We pray for peace, for comfort, and for the healing only God can bring.
