Volunteers are needed to build habitat structures for Monroe Lake on May 19. Volunteers will assemble more than 50 wooden structures from pallets to give fish a place to live and hide from predator fish. Caught a good one yesterday on Rough River on a Cajun Street party Spin-R Spinnerbait......had 2 other keepers for a second place finish....all on the Cajun Street Party Spin-R! Thanks for a good day fishing Dale Fess.
Too bad wee couldn't keep any of the slot fish.....club rules....

The world lost a great outdoorsman and fantastic grandpa this week. Grandpa Tom you will be missed so much. This great MAN is one of the reason's Grund-L exists. I have great memories being a kid dressing in my camo outfit going catfishing at the stripper pits or Cypress creek, whacking redear at the Gun Club, and killing my first deer as part of a double. I will miss my birthday buddy dearly......Godspeed and we will meet again on the big lake.
