Want to understand flex patterns better? We have been adding these details to all of our product pages and data sheets to make it easier to compare. Bending flex and twisting flex is different for fiber types, weights, and direction.

Its been a while since I shared one of Tyler’s builds. These carving boards use our veil to help bond aluminum reinforcement. As always the board has lots of Tyler’s unique goodies with cork stringers and custom machined insert packs. Personally, I really like the knot details in the veneer top.

We now have 0/90 biax fiberglass. This creates a lengthwise flex similar to 19oz triax but torsionally softer. Torsionally soft builds are often described as “playful” or “forgiving”. Like our other reinforcements, its available in both ski and snowboard widths. Let us know if you have any questions finding the right reinforcement.

New Product! We have been working on a fiberglass veil that is actually compatible with epoxy and now have it. Clear when wet out and great for improving bonds between solid materials - like cores and Titanal or veneer and nylon topsheet. Thin and light, and makes sure tricky bonds aren’t starved of resin.
